I saw you on your wedding day:
A floating angel amongst the fray.
Wafting white against an ocean of love:
The world at your feet for today.
Perchance I'd have been better absent,
Yet I met you in your suite,
With an unspoken tear
Flowing down your cheek.
I saw you on your wedding day:
The lovely lady fair.
And though you were there in person,
You were absent in your stare.
Was it love? Is it still?
Not for me to divine.
Although you wept in my open arms,
You were never mine.
I saw you on your wedding day.

Thank you much. I rather enjoy the vagueness of that one, though. Most people read it more upbeat--it's nice to hear some different feedback.
Oh, yes. Gonna be postin' here until you're all sick of me and my poetry and my smatterings of opinion, because I can rarely get decent opinions on my work.
